There was a time when I measured success by how much I could pack into my schedule.
Back-to-back meetings. Every panel. Every connection. Every opportunity.
The hustle looked impressive on the outside—but it often left me feeling scattered, overstimulated, and disconnected from myself.
Now? I move differently.
Whether I’m leading real estate conversations in Vancouver, building relationships in Tulum, or attending conferences like EVX in Austin—I bring intention with me.
I’ve learned that alignment doesn’t start at home. It travels with you.
The New Way I Do Business
Success for me now isn’t about how much I do—it’s about how I feel doing it.
Yes, I show up for the high-level conversations, the industry dinners, the investment meetings. But I also carve out space in the in-between.
Time for breathwork. A walk by the lake. A solo moment in the gym before the panels begin.
This shift hasn’t slowed me down. It’s made me sharper.
More present. More magnetic.
More connected to the people I’m meant to serve.
The Rituals That Keep Me Rooted (Even While Traveling)
When I landed in Austin for EVX, I brought more than my blazer and business cards—I brought the habits that keep me grounded:
Morning workouts at Equinox, just like I do in Vancouver
Yoga before the day begins—even just 15 minutes in the studio tucked inside the gym
A quiet walk by Lady Bird Lake, letting the energy of the city settle into my nervous system
Hydration, adaptogens, breathwork, and silence—small anchors that help me stay clear and calm
Because the truth is: you don’t need a perfect routine to stay aligned.
You just need a few non-negotiables—and the decision to honour them, even when the schedule is full.
Redefining What Success Feels Like
I used to associate success with doing it all.
Now I associate it with moving intentionally.
Building from a place of alignment.
Trusting that slowing down when needed doesn’t make me fall behind—it actually helps me move forward with more clarity.
In this new season of entrepreneurship, I’m not here to prove.
I’m here to build something that feels good, does good, and grows in a way that lasts.
The Takeaway?
Success isn’t just what you accomplish. It’s the energy you carry while you’re creating it.
That’s what I’m embodying now—on the road, in business, and in life.
